 Counsellor

We all experience challenging emotions at some point in our lives. These emotions can leave us feeling lost and alone but they are part of the human experience. I believe that experiencing difficulties in life can be used as a gateway to learning more about oneself. Our bodies including our thoughts and feelings are temples that provide great knowledge and information about our own resilience and power. Your own trials and tribulations, achievements and accomplishments all make you the person you are today – I want to use these to inspire you to discover your own capacity to heal. I acknowledge that we all have a unique set of life experiences, families, cultures, and backgrounds that have shaped each of our individual journeys, and the barriers we face in our everyday lives. This is why I take a client-focused approach to understand your unique story.

I know reaching out for support can be scary for some of you. I foster a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental approach to creating a space where you can feel safe. I  work with adults, adolescents, children, couples and families offering support, information, encouragement, advice, or instruction about emotional, social, educational, or spiritual matters.  I work with individuals to improve their mental health and wellbeing through activities such as counselling, coaching, crisis intervention and management, motivational interviewing, information and knowledge transfer and rehabilitation.
