Therapist in Training

I have always taken great interest in listening to individuals’ life stories growing up. My journey to becoming a psychotherapist began initially as a kinesiology student as my passion has always been to work in the helping field. As I worked in the physical therapy clinic, I found myself naturally engaging in deep and meaningful conversations with my patients, who in turn, encouraged me to pursue a career in mental health.
I take on a holistic approach to therapy where my methods are rooted in the idea that the mind and body work together to contribute to an individual’s overall health. My approach is grounded in building a trusting relationship with you through a safe and judgement-free environment to begin the healing process. As well, I believe that life’s suffering can be a catalyst to developing positive changes to one’s life. Therefore, beyond symptom reduction, I work collaboratively with you to create the meaningful changes you are striving for. I hope to assist you in various aspects of your life through promoting your self-awareness, inner harmony, and personal growth to ultimately improve overall wellness.
