Shymaa Alatrash
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Intern
Throughout my life, I have embarked on a lifelong pursuit of understanding others and guiding them toward realizing their fullest potential. This enduring passion has driven me to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Honours Psychology, and I am currently completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. I have always been deeply intrigued by the uniqueness of each person’s story. It is this innate curiosity about people that fuels my commitment to the field of psychotherapy. I firmly believe that every person’s narrative holds the potential for growth, healing, and empowerment, and it is my privilege to stand alongside you as you navigate your own path of exploration and self-discovery. A foundational principle that defines my approach is the establishment of a therapeutic environment imbued with trust, empathy, and non-judgment. It is within this safe space that you can openly share, reflect, and grow. Through active listening and a client-centered focus, I aim to build a solid foundation upon which meaningful change can be built.
