I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and grown alongside great clinicians such as my supervisor Dr. McDowall and the rest of the staff. The office/staff is extremely friendly and helpful and supported me in any challenge I had. While my classmates struggled to get direct client hours because supervisors had agreed to take them while not trusting them with patients, Dr. McDowall empowered me as a student and, with weekly supervision, allowed me to gradually build my caseload and complete my hours faster than everyone else in my class. I had the freedom to share my ideas and implement the interventions and modalities that resonated with me the most, as opposed to being forced to practice therapy in a certain way. Because of muy practicum experience here, I have acquired a wide variety of skills that normally takes many people a longer time to build.
