My Approach

Life can throw us curve balls that may seem impossible to navigate or process through emotionally. I understand the courage it takes to seek support, and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Regardless of where you are in your journey, I will meet you there and work collaboratively with you to get to where you want to be. One of my goals is to provide you with a safe, open, and non-judgmental space to explore and process your experiences. I understand that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach; everyone has unique circumstances. As such, I will provide client-centred, individualized care tailored to your needs and desired outcomes. If you are an individual navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, personal identity, life transition, academic stress, and/or low self-compassion, I am passionate about helping you overcome these challenges and create positive change.

Your Therapy Experience

In our sessions, I prioritize honouring the vulnerability it took for you to be here and will remain open, flexible, and authentic. I believe that it is important to regularly review treatment goals and recognize even the small milestones. By acknowledging how far you’ve come, we will work to emphasize your personal strengths that contribute to your progress. Setbacks are not definitive as failures, but rather part of the healing process. Together we will celebrate your resilience, explore lessons learned, and how you’ve navigated potential challenges. By fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship and a space where you set the pace, my hope is that your autonomy and self-exploration are encouraged, helping you to feel in control of your therapeutic journey.

More About Me

During my educational career, previous experience working with individuals who experienced traumatic brain injuries was a pivotal moment that solidified my desire to become a therapist. Supporting people through their recovery journey, I witnessed firsthand the resilience and courage it takes to navigate life after trauma. The opportunity to listen to their stories, offer emotional support, and observe the powerful impact of empathy and connection, inspired me deeply. It became clear that the therapeutic process could help people rebuild not just their physical lives, but their emotional and psychological well-being. In my spare time, I love travelling, reading, exploring new restaurants, exercise, baking, and spending time with loved ones.
