My Approach

Mental health is essential, and choosing to come to therapy reflects courage and a readiness for change. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can confront challenges, recognize your strengths, and work toward a more functional and fulfilling life. I primarily work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens, which helps address and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. Additionally, I incorporate various therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor sessions to your unique needs. Growing up in a multicultural environment, I value cultural sensitivity and incorporate this perspective into my practice. By understanding your story within the context of your background and identity, we can build a strong therapeutic alliance that fosters trust and collaboration.

Your Therapy Experience

Our sessions will focus on exploring your concerns while working toward practical, meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or relational conflicts, I am here to help you build a life aligned with your values and goals. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop strategies to improve emotional regulation and coping skills. I have experience working with diverse concerns, including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, borderline personality disorder, gender dysphoria, oppositional defiant disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). My specialties include emotion regulation, anger management, and addressing obsessive tendencies. Whatever challenges you are facing, our work will be grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration.

More About Me

Growing up in a multicultural environment has shaped my approach to therapy, allowing me to connect deeply with clients from varied backgrounds. I understand the importance of incorporating cultural sensitivity when exploring identity and life challenges. My experiences have enriched my ability to meet clients where they are, providing a compassionate and inclusive space to address their needs. When I’m not working, I enjoy activities that promote mindfulness and personal growth, allowing me to stay balanced and present in my practice. These passions reinforce my belief in the importance of holistic well-being and self-care, values I encourage my clients to explore as part of their journey.
