My Approach

I am a compassionate and curious person who is passionate about learning about different people’s unique experiences and life journeys. My multicultural experience growing up has made me open and appreciative of the impact of culture on our experience. This allows me to use a culturally sensitive approach in collaborating with you to develop a strong therapeutic alliance. My goal is to create a safe and respectful space for people to share their stories with me and work with you to highlight your strengths, enable self-discovery and empowerment. This work will promote greater self-awareness and understanding allowing you to connect with your values, embrace your strengths, develop strategies to support your values, and improve the quality of your relationships. We can collaborate to create more meaning and empowerment in your life to enable you to be true to yourself and fulfilled.

Your Therapy Experience

I will use an integrative approach to counselling which will enable me to tailor the course of therapy to your specific needs and goals. I will draw on evidence-based modalities such as Humanistic approaches, Mindfulness, Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, etc.
