My Approach

I believe in tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual. Drawing from multiple treatment modalities—including play therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—I strive to provide an integrative approach that supports meaningful growth. Whether working with children, young adults, or families, my goal is to foster emotional regulation, resilience, and well-being. By creating a collaborative and compassionate environment, I help clients address developmental, mental health, and life challenges in a way that is both supportive and empowering.

Your Therapy Experience

With over 15 years of experience in developmental and mental health, I specialize in supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. My background includes working with youth involved in the justice system, conducting multidisciplinary and behavioral assessments, designing positive behavior support plans, and providing consultations for developmental concerns like autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. My clinical expertise also extends to addressing mood and anxiety-related disorders and emotional regulation challenges. Currently, I am completing externship hours under Dr. McDowall to pursue registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

More About Me

As a mother of three teenagers, I understand the complexities of parenting and navigating mental health systems firsthand. This perspective enriches my work with families, allowing me to approach each client with empathy and a practical understanding of their challenges. Outside of my practice, I am passionate about enhancing the well-being of families and youth, whether through clinical consultations or advocacy efforts. My personal and professional experiences inspire me to support clients in improving their quality of life and fostering mental well-being.
