Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MACP Candidate
MY APPROACH
Life can be hard and the challenges we face can impact us in a variety of ways. Within a safe, empathic and non-judgmental environment, we will collaboratively address your current struggles and identify changes that you wish to make. I believe that you are the expert of your life and my aim is to help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, to identify underlying issues and patterns that may be contributing to your present concerns. Using a client-centered and culturally sensitive lens, I will help you to meet your therapeutic goals and improve your daily life by assisting you in increasing self-awareness, identifying strengths and developing coping skills. In addition, I view my clients holistically, and believe that it is important to understand how physical concerns such as sleep issues, hormonal imbalances, and chronic pain may be negatively affecting your psychological well-being.
YOUR THERAPY EXPERIENCE
In my practice, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches including Person- Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, tailoring interventions to meet your specific needs. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, learning challenges, interpersonal and relationship issues, major life transitions, parenting, stress management and grief. I am currently completing my MA in Counselling Psychology.
