MY APPROACH
My approach to therapy is grounded in genuine curiosity about each client’s lived experience. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential, and Narrative approaches, and I am also informed by contemporary psychoanalytic thinking. Rather than working from a one-size-fits-all model, I aim to meet clients where they are and tailor therapy to what feels most helpful and meaningful for them. I believe that meaningful change happens within a supportive, collaborative therapeutic relationship. I value openness, compassion, and thoughtful self-reflection, and I see therapy as a shared process that unfolds at a pace that feels right for each individual.
YOUR THERAPY EXPERIENCE
In our work together, my goal is to help you feel supported and empowered to proactively interact with those areas in your life that you are looking to address. In order to do this, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can begin to unpack and explore areas of concern. You can expect a collaborative partnership that blends practical tools with space for reflection. I am particularly mindful of experiences related to trauma, identity, emotional regulation, and personal growth, and I aim to support you in building insight, self-compassion, and coping strategies that feel sustainable and empowering.
MORE ABOUT ME
My path to becoming a therapist has not been linear, and that journey has given me a wide breadth of experiences that inform how I show up in the therapy room. I have a background in philosophy and environmental science, am passionate about the outdoors, and am a lover of children’s literature. I have spent the past seven years volunteering at The Gatehouse, where I facilitate peer support groups for adult survivors of childhood trauma. This work has deeply shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of feeling safe and supported in healing spaces.
AREAS OF TREATMENT
TAKE THE NEXT STEP
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure or nervous about reaching out. Many people come to therapy because something feels off, overwhelming, or stuck—or simply because they want to understand themselves better. Getting started is simple. The next step is to book a free consultation or an introductory call, where we’ll talk briefly about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and answer any questions you might have. There’s no pressure and no commitment—just a chance to see if working together feels like a good fit.
