MY APPROACH
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, holistic, and grounded in understanding you as a whole person. Every person is complex and unique, and I believe the path to healing should be treated as such. There is no “one size fits all” in therapy; I draw from various modalities to support your specific needs. I work with teens, emerging adults, and individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, co-occurring diagnoses, and difficult life transitions. Through my experience working with individuals who have faced trauma, I have come to appreciate the weight that the therapeutic relationship holds. I prioritize getting to know you, with a focus on building trust and safety.
YOUR THERAPY EXPERIENCE
I understand that starting therapy may feel intimidating, especially if you are accustomed to dealing with things on your own. During out time together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you. I strive to create a safe space, free from pressure and judgement. Together, we can work to make sense of your experiences, build emotional awareness, and develop tools that help you feel steadier and more in control. My goal is to support and empower you to navigate challenges in life while incorporating your values and beliefs into our sessions.
MORE ABOUT ME
I was drawn to becoming a therapist through my work in mental health and developmental services. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals with complex, co-occurring mental health needs, developmental disabilities, autism, and ADHD. Through this work, I saw firsthand how often emotional and mental health needs went unmet, and how meaningful it can be to have someone who truly listens, understands, and supports without judgement. My personal and professional experiences have shaped my commitment to helping others navigate their unique life journey. Outside of therapy, I enjoy photography, weightlifting, spending time in nature, and cultivating my community of loved ones, friends, and neighbours.
AREAS OF TREATMENT
TAKE THE NEXT STEP
If you feel ready to take that first step, I invite you to book a consultation. We can use this time to get to know one another, talk about what brings you to therapy, and explore whether we might be a good fit. From there, we can discuss what you’re looking for and what getting started could look like. Beginning therapy doesn’t have to feel overwhelming and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
