MY APPROACH
My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and grounded in meeting you where you are. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being open, reflecting honestly, and exploring what feels most important to you at your own pace. I often work with students, young professionals, and adults who are navigating demanding stages of life. Many are carrying stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or pressure while trying to meet expectations and manage everything on their own. I also support people who are exploring identity, values, cultural expectations, or major life transitions. I provide a balance of emotional support and practical guidance, and adapt our work to your needs so that therapy feels relevant, respectful, and genuinely supportive.
YOUR THERAPY EXPERIENCE
Clients can expect a calm, supportive, and collaborative space where feeling understood and safe is a priority. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and together we co-create goals that feel meaningful and realistic. I meet you where you are, adapting to your pace and needs throughout the process. While I can be flexible and more directive when helpful, I value maintaining structure, as it is evidence-based and supports clarity and progress. I often use CBT-informed approaches to help identify patterns, explore where certain beliefs or ways of coping may have developed, and create practical strategies that support meaningful change. I check in regularly to ensure our work feels helpful, while supporting steady, lasting growth.
MORE ABOUT ME
My path to becoming a therapist grew out of over a decade of working with children and youth, including my experience as an elementary school teacher. Witnessing how early experiences shape identity and well-being sparked a deep passion for this work and felt like a natural next step in my career. I was born and raised in Toronto to parents who immigrated from India, an experience that has meaningfully shaped both my upbringing and my approach to therapy. I believe that everyone longs for a sense of belonging, a “village,” and that being in community is essential to our well-being. In my work, I am guided by empathy, authenticity, and curiosity. Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, yoga and dance, spending time in nature, and writing.

TAKE THE NEXT STEP
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. It’s completely normal to feel unsure or nervous. If something has been weighing on you lately, this could be a good time to get support and begin making sense of it. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to walk alongside you in a way that feels steady and supportive. If you’re ready, you can book a free consultation or schedule an intro call. It’s a simple first step to see if we’re a good fit and start moving forward.
