MY APPROACH

I take a client-centered approach and focus on creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to openly explore their thoughts and emotions. I work collaboratively with each client to develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects their unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), to support meaningful and lasting change.

YOUR THERAPY EXPERIENCE

With extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, I provide culturally supportive, individualized therapy sessions that honor your unique values and experiences. I integrate practical tools such as paced breathing, mindfulness, grounding exercises, and cognitive restructuring to help manage stress, anxiety, panic attack, and depression. Sessions are flexible and collaborative, allowing you to guide the focus while I provide guidance and support where it’s most helpful. I focus on understanding your unique needs and tailoring sessions to support meaningful growth.

MORE ABOUT ME

My journey to becoming a therapist stems from my early work with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I saw the profound impact therapy had on their emotional and social growth, which inspired me to help others navigate their challenges. My own life transitions highlighted the value of emotional support, deepening my commitment to guiding others. This passion, combined with my interest in human behavior, led me to pursue a career in therapy to make a positive difference. As an immigrant in Canada, I understand the unique challenges of adapting to a new culture. My experience as a professional swimmer and martial artist has taught me resilience, discipline, and a growth mindset values.
