MY APPROACH

I believe meaningful change and reliable mental health is achieved through active, vulnerable, and deliberate practice. My approach applies innovative perspectives and skill building to cultivate new ways of thinking, feeling, and being. Our exercises will support a more adaptive relationship with yourself and your experiences. My philosophy of care is informed by the understanding that the mind and body are continually adapting, giving us opportunities to develop new ways of thinking, responding, and experiencing ourselves and the world. I bring a developmental perspective to help you understand yourself more deeply and turn your personal insights into real-world action.

YOUR THERAPY EXPERIENCE

Your therapy experience begins with our relationship. I value openness, comfort, and honesty as the foundation for work that is collaborative, responsive, and meaningful. Your feedback is an important part of the process, helping us recognize what is working, where adjustments are needed, and how our work can best support your goals. You will engage with measurement-based tools that makes your progress visible, supports collaborative decision-making, and helps ensure our work remains purposeful and responsive to your needs. You will learn, reflect, and complete exercises to build a deeper understanding of how your thoughts, emotions, body, and behaviours interact.

MORE ABOUT ME

My years of experience in education shaped my belief that every person has a unique story, learning style, and set of experiences that influence how they learn, grow, and develop. This has shaped my belief in creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered in their growth. My experience in sport has influenced how I view growth and development. Reaching the semi-professional level taught me that improvement is not about perfection, but about showing up consistently, learning from setbacks, and practicing new approaches. I carry this coaching perspective into therapy, where I see personal growth as something that develops through curiosity, effort, and putting new skills into practice.
