Aida Abbasi, HBSc

Intern

Modern life is fast-paced and complex, and it is not uncommon to feel swept up and swallowed by life’s difficulties. Whether these difficulties are relational issues, grief, trauma, chronic illness, suicidal ideation or issues of identity, I aim to empower my clients by recognizing their strengths by working with them to develop a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Having worked as an applied behaviour therapist for families with children with developmental disabilities for the past three years and a life coach, I have learned that the power of collaborative therapy is something truly transformative. I am also an Iranian immigrant and realize the importance of embedding cultural sensitivity within the therapeutic context. I look forward to working with you to overcome the difficult circumstances in your life.
