Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

When you’re looking for a therapist, “fit” is key. Talking with someone whose personality and approach resonates with you will make all the difference. Each individual is the expert in their own life, within therapy, I’m here to work collaboratively with you to uncover your existing strengths, process your experiences in a safe space, build resiliency, and/or overcome personal roadblocks. Through my previous volunteer work within the mental health field, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people during some of life’s most challenging moments. I honour the innate transformative power of courage, inner strength, resiliency, and vulnerability that each individual brings into therapy on their journey of healing. My goal is to cultivate an inclusive environment, foster self-discovery, and nurture clients’ strengths to expand their inner resources.

Currently, I am completing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Additionally, I have completed additional certification in CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed therapy, and Meditation Mindfulness. Concurrently, I am in the process of becoming a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher with over 200 hours of training and 300 independent hours of teaching. I believe in an integrative, individually tailored, and evidence-based approach. With a strong therapeutic alliance is built through a collaborative process fostered by openness, non-judgment, and unconditional positive regard. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy and intend to offer a wide range of therapeutic approaches to better support my clients.
