Christine Kerr

Intern

With a Bachelor’s in Psychology and pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, my passion lies in aiding others, deeply influenced by my Caribbean background. As a person of colour, I empathize with life’s challenges and deeply value my clients’ trust in me. I believe in utilizing an integrative therapeutic approach to therapy that incorporates frameworks such as Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused, Behavioural and Mindfulness Therapies. It recognizes the uniqueness of everyone’s experiences, ensuring each client feels understood and respected.

I deeply appreciate the vulnerability of sharing your life experiences with someone, and I consider it a privilege to be invited into that space. My utmost priority is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment for clients to explore their emotions and foster a therapeutic alliance with me. I am dedicated to curating a therapeutic experience tailored to each person’s diverse needs, ensuring an effective therapeutic journey.

Christine is a therapist-in-training practicing under the supervision of Daniel Dufraimont.
