Merlin Tong, HBSc
As a therapist, I believe it is a privilege to be a part of my client’s journey towards healing and meaningful change. I value a collaborative approach to therapy, working with my clients towards their therapeutic goals and providing a space in which we can process difficult emotions, thoughts and experiences. Ultimately, I believe in fostering one’s strengths and cultivating a sense of acceptance and resilience in coping with the various concerns and challenges that impact us.
I work through various modalities, including elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic principles in my work in creating an individualized approach to treatment.
